That most unusual of things: a Tennessee Williams play with a happy ending. "Period of Adjustment" at Islington's Almeida (handy for post-theatre dinner at Granita and an opportunity to watch New Labour's latest dirty dealing), stolen in the second half by Sandy McDade. Recommended.
